I think I gave slightly lower scores than DK in week one, so I was surprised that he was a touch lower practically across the board this time.

Ah, the non-submitters. It sucks, but at least it gives their teammates a chance to eliminate someone without freaking out that they may be the one.

Very interesting, reminds me a bit of The White Plague by Frank Herbert. The doctor here has similar motivations, though more suicidal than in Herbert's story.

Glad you liked it though. I've done a lot of these little stories. I call em "crot fiction". I have a couple series of them that seem to be wanting to organize themselves into a larger narrative.

I don't know. I think I just want to let it sit. There's so much that needs to be redone to the early parts that I think it's going to significantly change the end anyway. I'll think on it.

The review gig, gonna be interesting. Next book is a collection of flash fiction stories that can only be classified as Zombie erotica/romance

I think you should get those last chapters down before you let that NaNo puppy breathe. Hurry up and get them down before the inner editor kicks back in. Get it complete. But that's just me. I'm proud as hell of you. And the review job sounds fan-freaking-tastic, paid or not. It's productive, and it's what you love. Thanks for the referral, too. I've had a number of compliments this week, but that was the best, right there.
